Terms & Conditions

By booking or agreeing to receive services, you agree to these terms in full.

1. Services Provided

    Maid4U Cleaning Services offers cleaning services including, but not limited to:

    The exact description, scope, location, and timing of services will be detailed in the Service Agreement or Booking Confirmation provided in writing.

    2. Booking & Confirmation

      a. Services are considered booked only once we issue a written Service Confirmation (via email or text).
      b. The Service Confirmation will include date, time, address, scope of services, pricing, and any special terms.
      c. Any change to a confirmed booking must be requested at least 48 hours prior to service date unless otherwise agreed.

      3. Client Responsibilities

        Before the service appointment:

        a. Client must provide access to the property at the scheduled time (keys, codes, or entry instructions).
        b. Client must secure pets or advise us of their presence.
        c. Client must remove fragile or valuable items, or arrange safe placement.
        d. Client must notify the Company of any hazards, unsafe conditions, or special circumstances.

        4. Pricing & Payment

          a. Prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars and may be subject to taxes.
          b. A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking.
          c. Final payment is due before, during, or immediately after service delivery unless otherwise agreed.
          d. Payment methods accepted: Credit Card, Debit, E-Transfer, or other methods as agreed.
          e. Outstanding balances past due may incur a fee or interest.

          5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

            a. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service.
            b. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before service may be charged a cancellation fee up to 50% of the service cost.
            c. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may result in full service charges.
            d. Clients may reschedule once with no penalty if requested at least 48 hours before the service date.

            6. Service Changes & Extra Charges

              a. Any changes to the scope of work that require additional labor, time, or materials may incur extra charges.
              b. Affected services and charges will be communicated in writing before proceeding when possible.

              7. Satisfaction & Service Adjustments

                a. Maid4U Cleaning Services strives to perform services to professional standards.
                b. If Client believes services were incomplete or unsatisfactory, errors must be reported within 24 hours of service.
                c. We may offer adjustments, re-clean visits, or credit at our discretion after review.

                8. Property Condition & Liability

                  a. Maid4U Cleaning Services is insured for general liability; however, we are not responsible for damage due to pre-existing conditions.
                  b. The Company is not liable for loss or damage caused by conditions outside our control.
                  c. Client agrees to secure valuable or fragile items prior to service.
                  d. If damage occurs due to negligence on the part of the Company, liability will be limited to the cost of the cleaning service performed.

                  9. Health & Safety

                    a. Client must disclose any known hazards, pests, or unsafe conditions.
                    b. Cleaning staff will follow professional safety protocols, but Maid4U Cleaning Services is not responsible for conditions that compromise their safety beyond reasonable effort.

                    10. Privacy & Personal Data

                      We may collect personal information necessary to provide services. Client data will be used as needed to fulfill service requests and in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws.

                      11. Insurance

                        Unless otherwise specified in writing, Maid4U Cleaning Services carries general liability insurance but makes no guarantees regarding specific coverage for all client situations. Additional insurance requests should be discussed directly.

                        12. Force Majeure

                          Maid4U Cleaning Services is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including (but not limited to) weather, public emergencies, health crises, natural disasters, labor issues, or transportation delays.

                          13. Modifications to These Terms

                            These Terms & Conditions may be updated by Maid4U Cleaning Services at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website or otherwise provided to Clients.

                            14. Governing Law

                              These terms shall be governed by the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada.

                              15. Acceptance

                                By booking cleaning services with Maid4U Cleaning Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
